It is my answer to years of searching for a true home for my songs and finding only algorithms, ads, and walls where there should have been doors.

Why I Built Sonify
For years, I went back and forth between platforms trying to figure out where my music truly belonged. This is not the 90’s. Every time I released a track, I had to juggle to release, fight to be seen, and scream to be heard, buried under algorithms, sponsored content and “recommended” songs that had nothing to do with my song, voice or my journey.
I watched fellow independent musicians pour heart and soul into their work, only to be reduced to data points in someone else’s business model. That experience turned into a conviction: artists and listeners deserve a platform that benefits us, not shareholders. Sonify is the platform I wished existed when I was struggling to find space for my own music. I have tried them all. I’ve been releasing records since 1994. I had no choice left, so I decided to build it.
What Sonify Is (And Is Not)
Sonify is an independent music streaming and community platform built for original, bold, brave, courageous, truthful, and often overlooked artists from every corner of the world. It is a home where musicians can upload their songs, build living profiles, tell their stories, generate revenue streams and grow audiences that are real—not manufactured by marketing budgets.
Listeners on Sonify are not targets – they are discoverers and musicians are the discoveries. They explore new sounds, align with artists they like, and support the music that truly moves them, not just what lands on top of a corporate playlist.
Sonify is not an audio data company, not an AI sound tool, and not a back-end audio service for other industries; it is a global destination for independent music and the people who make it and love it.
Free From Corporate Influence
Most mainstream platforms are designed for ad revenue, investor satisfaction, and catalog control, not for artistic integrity or listener freedom. In that world, independent artists like me become statistics, and listeners become segments in a sales funnel.
Sonify is my refusal to accept that model. This platform is built to be owned and supported by musicians and listeners, so decisions can be guided by community, fairness, and creativity instead of quarterly reports. My mission with Sonify is simple: to put tools, visibility, and value back into the hands of those who make the music and those who treasure it.
How Sonify Works For Artists And Listeners
On Sonify, artists can create profiles that reflect who they really are, not just a polished marketing version. They can write blogs, promote on auto-posts, upload and share singles, EPs, albums, instrumental projects, experiments, and cross-genre collaborations without asking for permission from any gatekeeper. They can also turn that into their radio stations.
Listeners can dive into new releases, search by mood or story, follow their favorite artists, personalize content with mood sliders and playlist generators, use and share discoveries with a community that actually wants to hear something different. Every play becomes an act of discovery, courage, support, every follow a vote for independence, and every connection a small step toward a healthier music ecosystem.
A Personal Message From Me, the Founder
As an American singer, songwriter, and producer who has spent years reshaping rock and Desi rock with heart, inspiration, and technology, I know how lonely and frustrating the path of an independent artist can be. I built Sonify because I am one of those artists, and I wanted a platform where our work would be hopefully appreciated, respected, not exploited or sidelined.
If you make music, I developed Sonify with you in mind, because I have been where you are. If you make a living with music, I built this so you could finally step outside the noise and discover art that feels human again and maybe flourish with it. Together, through Sonify, we can use music itself to put freedom back into our own hands—and into the possible future of music we are building, track by track.
